Customer-facing terms for CuratedGlow website orders

Please read these Terms & Conditions before using our website or placing an order. By accessing our website, creating an account, joining our rewards programme or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to any policies linked at checkout.

2. Website checkout agreement

At checkout, customers should be shown clear links to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Cancellation, Returns, Refunds & Exchange Policy before completing purchase.

3. Our products

CuratedGlow sells skincare products, including face serums. Product descriptions, ingredient information, directions for use, warnings, net content and other product details will be shown on the product page and/or product packaging.

Our products are cosmetic products and are not medicines or medical treatments.

Product results may vary between individuals depending on skin type, routine and frequency of use.

Customers should follow the directions for use, warnings and patch-test guidance shown on the product page and/or packaging.

Customers should stop using the product and contact us if they experience irritation or any health-related reaction.

4. Product information, images and availability

We work to ensure product descriptions, prices, images and availability are accurate. However, packaging, colour, texture appearance and batch information may vary slightly due to printing, screen settings, formulation batch differences or product updates.

All products are subject to availability. We may refuse, cancel or limit an order if a product is unavailable, incorrectly priced, affected by a website error, suspected of misuse/fraud or cannot lawfully be supplied to the delivery location.

5. Prices, payments and taxes

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and include applicable taxes where required unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges, taxes, duties, import charges or other charges may be shown separately at checkout where applicable. For deliveries outside the UK, customs duties, import taxes or local charges may be payable by the customer if stated at checkout or required by law.

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers and/or Shopify-supported checkout services. CuratedGlow does not intentionally store full payment card numbers on its own systems. Shopify-powered stores are PCI compliant by default, and payment providers may process payment information under their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Order acceptance

After you place an order, you may receive an order acknowledgement. This does not always mean your order has been finally accepted. We accept your order when we confirm dispatch or otherwise confirm acceptance. If we cannot accept the order, we will notify you and arrange an appropriate refund where payment has been taken.

7. Delivery

We aim to work with reliable delivery partners. Delivery methods, estimated delivery times and costs will be shown before checkout where available. Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by carrier delays, customs, weather, address issues or events outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details and for ensuring someone can receive the order where required. If carrier tracking, delivery photo, signature, GPS/location scan or other carrier evidence shows delivery to the address or nominated safe place, we may treat the order as delivered while we investigate any issue raised by the customer or courier.

8. Cancellations, returns, refunds and exchanges

Cancellations, returns, refunds and exchanges are governed by our separate Cancellation, Returns, Refunds & Exchange Policy. Customers should read that policy before placing an order.

For hygiene and safety reasons, skincare products cannot be returned for change-of-mind cancellation, return or exchange once opened, used or unsealed, unless the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, or where applicable law requires otherwise.

9. Health-related concerns and adverse reactions

If you experience irritation, discomfort, an allergic reaction or any other health-related concern after using a CuratedGlow product, stop using the product and contact us at the customer service email above. We may ask for order details, product details, batch/LOT number, photos where relevant and information about the reaction so the matter can be reviewed appropriately.

Health-related reports may be shared with our responsible person, regulatory advisers, insurers, manufacturer or authorities where required for product safety, legal compliance or investigation.

10. Accounts, rewards, referrals and offers

Customers may be able to create an account, join CuratedGlow Rewards, use referral offers or access promotional codes. Rewards, referral benefits and promotional offers may be subject to separate rules, eligibility criteria, expiry dates, exclusions and anti-abuse controls.

We may withdraw, change or refuse any offer, reward or code where it has expired, been misused, used contrary to the offer rules or affected by technical or pricing error.

11. Website use and intellectual property

All website content, brand assets, product names, text, images, layouts, graphics and other materials are owned by or licensed to CuratedGlow unless stated otherwise. Customers may use the website for personal shopping and information purposes only. No website content may be copied, reused, sold, scraped or exploited commercially without our written permission.

12. User content, reviews and feedback

If you submit a review, testimonial, image, video, comment or other content to CuratedGlow, you confirm that it is truthful, lawful and your own content or that you have permission to share it. We may moderate, edit for length/clarity, decline or remove content where it is inappropriate, misleading, unlawful, offensive, spam, irrelevant or contains personal/sensitive information.

By submitting content, or by giving us permission to use content, you grant CuratedGlow a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to use, reproduce, edit for length/clarity and display that content on our website, social media, marketing, email, advertising and retail/stockist materials. We will not intentionally publish personal or sensitive information beyond what is reasonably connected to the content without appropriate consent.

13. Third-party links and platforms

Our website may link to third-party platforms, payment providers, delivery partners, social media platforms, Shopify services, marketplaces or other external websites. Those third parties may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services outside our control.

14. Liability and statutory rights

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on our website. The version that applies to your order is normally the version available when you placed the order, unless a change is required by law or regulatory requirement.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in another part of the UK or the EU, you may also have mandatory local consumer rights that apply and cannot be excluded.
